wow, this first term has been a whirlwind of activity. It doesn’t make it easier when you are homeschooling one and the other is in a school.
Grace has settled nicely into her school routine and it set to be on schedule with American schooling when we return in December. You can pray about what we are going to do in December with Grace. We have lots of options, but are just not sure what is the best option for her.
Matthew has been working so hard this term. Your matric year (senior year) is not a joke. They hit the ground running with stuff due all the time. It doesn’t help that he has 2 very involved practical subjects like Art and Engineering Graphic Design. Those take up so much time. But he is surviving and a wing and prayer :). Above are some pictures of his Matric Dance (prom). Please be in prayer for Matthew for his Matric year. It is very stressful and full of projects and work. Please pray that he is diligent in his work and continues to have a good work ethic.
Our family is getting to take a little break next week and go to Durban which is on the east coast. The Indian Ocean is so warm and beautiful and we love to get our Indian food fix.
The last week of this month, David will go to Kenya for the East African Summit that will include our J-Life Countries from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, and Burundi. Please be in prayer for safety in traveling. Traveling in Africa is not safe especially by bus. We do not take for granted our safe arrival anywhere. Pray that the guys will get through the material and discussions needed during the week. Pray that it will also be a time of revival for each of the leaders coming and those coming with them.
